從選單中選擇"系統"->"設定"->"設定你的電腦"，或是直接在終端機下執行 "mcc" (Mandriva Control Center).
選擇右下角的"選擇升級時至何處下載套件"
點選右邊的"新增"
選擇"散佈來源"
當然選"是"
台灣的兩個選一個吧.
接下來會自動新增套件的來源到你的來源當中，你可以把要的啟用…
預設 main , contrib , main_updates, contrib_updates, 建議把 non-free, non-free-updates 也勾選唷..
以後只要用 mcc 的套件管理就可以直接用 rpmdrake 安裝新的軟體囉…

來自yochenhsieh的建議
我建議也啟用 main backports, contrib backports
並勾選為自動更新
現在 main backports 裡有 gcin-1.3.4 final, wine-0.9.35, ktorrent-2.1.3
contrib backports 有 opendesktop 字型(內含big5日文,適合bbs使用)
